Our visitors in Assembly

Today we had a dance/performance group join us in assembly today.  They were a group from Auckland and we were the first school they visited on their tour.  Room26 was one of the two lucky classes in the whole school to get a photo with them! To find out more about them, visit their facebook page.

HOW TO: make a poppy

Karakia Kai

As part of learning Te Reo Maori in our classroom, students learnt some basic karakia for different times of the day.  This is karakia kai and we say this before lunch each day.

Last Term we did a unit study on Communities and researched some community organisations. Below is a glog, with links to some of the published glogs from students in our class.
